The Kobzar Armada was formed on February 24th, 2022, when Jurij Fedynskyj along with several of his students headed to Kyiv, with the  intent to protect Ukraine from the Muskovite invasion, by practice of the kobzar tradition in bomb shelters, and amongst military camps. Following two months of being under seige, they traveled to the entire Eastern Front, and have conducted five such, month long tours of duty. Jurij and the Armada have also toured the West, raising awareness through kobzaring, to the main countries who have supported Ukraine, namely, the US, UK, and Europe. To date, the concert/event total counts around five hundred, over the course of two and a half years. The next tour of the UK and Ireland is being organized.
